Montebello Bus Lines has a strong commitment to the community we serve and our employees. As an equal employment opportunity employer, MBL strives to have a workforce that reflects the community we serve. No person is unlawfully excluded from employment opportunities. MBL is firmly committed to conduct its employment practices, including, but not limited to recruitment, recruitment advertising, hiring, promotion, selection for training, transfer, demotion, layoff, termination, rates of pay or other forms of compensation, use of facilities and treatment of employees without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), age, disability, genetic· information, veteran status, sexual preference, or other protected class.

I maintain overall responsibility and accountability for MBL's compliance with its EEO Policy and Program. EEO Officer, Ramon Figueroa, has been given responsibility to develop and monitor equal employment opportunity programs for MBL and acts with my authority with all levels of management, labor unions, and employees. All management and supervisory personnel at every level share the responsibility for implementing and monitoring MBL's EEO Policy and Program within their respective areas and will be assigned specific tasks to ensure compliance is achieved. MBL will evaluate its managers' and supervisors' performance on their successful implementation of MBL's policies and procedures, in the same way MBL assesses their performance regarding other agency's goals.

All applicants and employees have the right to file complaints alleging discrimination. The employee or applicant can submit a written or verbal complaint to the EEO Officer, Mr. Figueroa at the following:
