An essential component of the Montebello Fire Department’s vision of “Community Resiliency” is through community education related to life safety, environmental protection, and property conservation.
Our Public Education Office schedules the following activities for youth:
• Fire Station Visits
• Fire Apparatus Demonstrations
• Special Community Event Participation
• Recruitment Fairs
GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION REQUESTS
• To request a public education event, please call email: [email protected]
• A minimum of 3 week's advance notice is required for Firefighters and Fire Engines to be Scheduled.
• Have more than 1 date in case the first choice is unavailable.
• Only requests for 1st grade and higher will be granted. *No visits for preschool or kindergarten.
• No birthday or personal parties.
• Educational opportunities for businesses are available upon request.

• Smoke detector installation with the American Red Cross. Held 2x a year include free smoke detectors and free installations.
• Fire Extinguisher Training
