The City of Montebello's Utility Box Beautification Program is a public art program designed to transform common traffic signal control boxes into new distinctive works of art, creating a more vibrant, attractive cityscape. The program additionally aims to celebrate local artists and their artwork by involving the community in the beautification of the City.
The Utility Box Beautification Program is back for Round 3. Round 3 celebrates our City's upcoming anniversary and California Clean Air Day in October. Artwork will be accepted by all ages and is due Monday, October 23, 2023. The application is available to download or can be picked up at the Recreation and Community Services Office.
