The Montebello Senior Citizen Center is a multi-purpose facility where Senior Services are offered to empower and provide senior citizens, aged 50 years and over, access to physical, leisure, social, and life-enhancing and sustaining programs and services. Thus, allowing older adults to thrive and age healthfully in the community. To support this, the Montebello Senior Center maintains a schedule of classes, social services, and special events for the senior population. Continuous programs include health screenings, dances, and a variety of exercise/leisure classes. Staff promote needed senior resource programs to reinforce this group’s quality of life, health and well-being. In addition, staff may provide senior citizens assistance, advocacy, and liaison services for various resources related to housing, food, healthcare, and transportation among others.
The Montebello Senior Center facility is also utilized in the evenings, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., for Recreational Class Programs that serve patrons of all ages, and is available for rentals by the public.
