Benefits & Compensation
In addition to the base salary, the following are provided:
- CalPERS Classic members pay 8% toward their employee contribution to CalPERS with a retirement formula of 2.7% @ 55
- CalPERS PEPRA members pay 7.5% toward their employee contribution to CalPERS retirement with a retirement formula of 2% @ 62
- 11 medical plans are available, including dental & vision coverage. The maximum paid by the City is $1650.00/mo. (3+-party coverage)
- Medical Incentive of $350 per month with valid proof of current health coverage
- 12 paid Holidays
- up to 80 Vacation leave hours
- up to 96 Sick leave hours
- $30,000 term life insurance, $30,000 AD&D
